Mattie Coles
PRESIDENT/FOUNDER
Mattie is a registered nurse with over 30 years of experience. She has worked in various clinical settings where she has gained expertise as a clinician and administrator. However her passion has always been caring for families, specifically young women and their infants. Mattie became an RN after graduating from Western Pennsylvania Hospital School of Nursing. She earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. Mattie’s desire is to contribute to the empowerment and strength of the family in a largely single parent society, and to leave a legacy of service.
Alfred "A.J." Coles, Jr.
Vice president
A.J. is an artist with the spirit of an entrepreneur and a heart of service. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from Clark Atlanta University. His true passion is his work as an artist and creative director. A.J. organizes and hosts events surrounding music and visual art with his founded brand, LxVE (Love & Value Everything). His intention is to inspire, integrate, and progress youth and local communities. He serves as the Director of Marketing at his local church.
Trina Terrell
secretary/treasurer
Trina has many years of experience in accounting and finance. She volunteers with several non-profit organizations in the community, and has a passion for assisting students with going to college, and for simply helping anyone in need. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University, and is currently pursuing and MBA there. Trina serves on multiple ministries at her local church.
Debra K. Scott
Debra is focused, committed and career experienced with over 20 years of expertise in the Mortgage and Banking Industry of Community Lending. She has been a board member on other various community boards, and has coordinated and facilitated community outreach. Debra has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Indiana Wesleyan University, and a CLO Designation. Debra also serves on various ministries at her local church.
Nichole Billups
Nichole has nearly 20 years of experience as a leader and change agent. She is a Norfolk State graduate who focused on Journalism and Public Relations. Her areas of expertise include national and international media relations. In her current position Nichole is the Executive Vice President of Communications where she oversees all public relations and communication efforts. She has served on various boards, and is active in multiple ministries in her local church.
